Manu Ginobili has one of his best performances in recent memory on Tuesday night, becoming the San Antonio Spurs‘ savior down the stretch and blocking James Harden from behind in a potential game-tying three-point attempt as the game clock expired.
The 39-year-old read the time to perfection, jumping in anticipation and waiting for Harden to raise up and come across his 6-foot-6 frame to obliterate his chances at another extra period and notching a 110-107 Game 5 win.

Not only was Ginobili the hero in the winding seconds of the game, but he also turned out one of his better all-around performances — tallying 12 points, seven rebounds, five assists, and a block during an unusual 32-minute run.

His head coach, Gregg Popovich was incredibly pleased with his efforts, giving him an effusive compliment in his post-game press conference.
“Manu reached back and gave us one of his Manu performances from past years. He was a stud,” Popovich said.
