Former San Antonio Spurs Boris Diaw has revealed the real reason Manu Ginobili is one of the most revered legends in franchise history.
Diaw says that the future Hall of Fame shooting guard has, and will always be the truth – both on and off the court.

Ginobili, 41, played all of his 16 NBA seasons with the Spurs before hanging it up this past August. He recorded 13.3 points, 3.8 assists, and 3.5 rebounds in his career.
Diaw and Ginobili were teammates for over four seasons. Diaw won the lone ring of his career while with the organization in 2013-14, routing LeBron James and the Miami Heat in five games.
Former and current Spurs will gather as the team retires Ginobili's hallowed No. 20 jersey on Thursday night following a home matchup against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Ginobili will become the ninth player in Spurs franchise history to have his number raised to the rafters, joining Bruce Bowen (12), Tim Duncan (21), Sean Elliott (32), George Gervin (44), Avery Johnson (6), Johnny Moore (00), David Robinson (50) and James Silas (13), per the team's website.
Manu Ginobili's resume includes four NBA championships with the Spurs, two All-Star appearances, and a 2007-2008 Sixth Man of the Year award recipient.
It's safe to say that the Ginobili name will forever be a treasured by the citizens of San Antonio.
