The San Antonio Spurs have their back against the wall as they face an 0-2 series deficit against the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.
To make matters worse, Kawhi Leonard’s status after re-injuring his ankle is still up in the air.
Every bit of help is needed in San Antonio at this point, and the team were met with a pleasant surprise from its former heart and soul, Tim Duncan, during practice.

After being called out by Gregg Popovich for his passivity, LaMarcus Aldridge carries with him extra burden especially if Leonard doesn’t suit up for Game 3. This is where Duncan comes in as he figures to be the perfect individual to help carry Aldridge out of the funk he’s in.
Game 4 won’t be played until Saturday, giving the Spurs plenty of time to reflect and prepare in their bounce back bid in front of their home crowd.
