The Philadelphia 76ers have kicked their 2017-18 NBA season into high gear amidst their current seven-game winning streak. Now fans are seemingly on Cloud 9 with the latest update in the saga surrounding point guard Markelle Fultz.

It has been well-established that Fultz has done some serious re-tooling to his jump shot ever since the shoulder injury. However, this latest video shows that his jumper may not be completely gone after all, via Zack Rosenblatt of NJ Advance Media:

Sixers fans can breathe a sigh of relief as Fultz's form is reminiscent of his days at Washington. Up until now, there was some major concern over how much the injured shoulder had decimated his once-lethal shooting ability. His ongoing struggles that were evidenced by clips every now and then has been one of the major storylines this season.

Fortunately, Fultz now seems to be back on track to getting back to being the player that had been taken with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft. Needless to say, his progress spells good news for the Sixers' future as well. For now, it still remains to be seen when Fultz will make his return to the court.

Until then, the Sixers will proceed with business as usual. Philadelphia is feeling the love in February after having won eight out of their last nine games. The team had been struggling to maintain their spot in the Eastern Conference playoffs prior to the winning streak. Although the latest update on Fultz is certainly promising, the Sixers cannot rely on the prospect of reinforcements coming anytime soon.
