With the trade deadline coming up, the San Antonio Spurs are looking for some more wing help and have inquired about acquiring a swingman, according to Jabari Young of The Atheltic.
The Spurs reportedly had interest in Trevor Ariza, but he was sent to the Washington Wizards before San Antonio was able to come up with a trade package which would interest the Phoenix Suns. The Spurs currently have Rudy Gay and Davis Bertans at the small forward position.

The Spurs were interested in adding Trevor Ariza, but no package could work. The Phoenix Suns shipped Ariza to the Washington Wizards for Kelly Oubre and Austin Rivers.
After getting off to a slow start to the season, the Spurs have rounded into form nicely and enter Tuesday with a record of 27-21, good for sixth place in the Western Conference standings.
Gay has been dealing with a lingering wrist injury which has forced him to miss some games here and there, so it looks like San Antonio wants to add more depth to the wing position just in case Gay is forced to miss more games.
