The San Antonio Spurs have been creatures of unmatched consistency over the years. They have made the playoffs in each of the last 20 years, one of the longest such streaks in NBA history.
And after the Spurs’ 96-85 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Monday, they have now gone 20 years without losing to the Hawks at home, the longest active home win streak against a single opponent in the NBA per ESPN Stats and Info.
The Hawks shouldn’t feel too bad about being owned for a good two decades by the Spurs on their own home floor. The Spurs have simply dominated several franchises over Gregg Popovich’s reign, which explains why three of the five longest active home win streaks against a single opponent belong to the Spurs.

Popovich remains the Spurs' lone constant through the years and doesn't appear to be slowing down. And with the Hawks in the middle of a lengthy rebuilding phase, they may have to wait a bit longer before they can taste victory again at San Antonio.
