Paul George was sure to keep the blame among the ones on the court after calling an impromptu closed door meeting following a fourth straight loss to put the Oklahoma City Thunder at 4-7 for the season.
The Thunder has remained the only winless team against its own conference, going 0-6 after Thursday night's loss to the Denver Nuggets, but George claims it's up to the players to make it right.
“The first quarter is a blowout and it looks like we’re gonna handle a team,” said George, according to Brett Dawson of The Oklahoman. “And then they make that adjustment and we don’t match the adjustment. And I think it’s on us. It’s not the coaching, it’s on us.”

OKC only had a six-point lead after the first quarter, and still maintained a two-point lead at the half, but the Nuggets chipped away in every quarter after their early deficit, ultimately coming up victorious at home.
Perhaps what's most worrisome is how teams have already figured out the Thunder is still playing an iso-heavy game despite having three All-Stars in the mix, feasting off a team that only totaled 16 assists and turned it over 16 times throughout the game.
OKC's lack of ball-movement has hurt them on more than one occasion and this time, it has become the reason teams have had no problem dealing with them despite their star-studded lineup.
