Thursday night's game between the New York Knicks and Oklahoma City Thunder will provide an opportunity for several players to play against their former teammates.

One of which is veteran big man Enes Kanter, who had spent the last 2 1/2 seasons with the Thunder before being moved to the Knicks as part of the Carmelo Anthony trade just prior to the start of training camp last month.

In light of that, Steven Adams discussed what he expects in the trash talking with his former teammate and close friend, according to Erik Horne of The Oklahoman.

Although Adams claims that there won't be much trash-talking done between them both, there should certainly be some sort of banter on the court given their large amount of familiarity with each other. The two have developed a unique bond over the last couple of years in Oklahoma City that will provide some sort of an entertaining aspect to their matchup on Thursday night.

Depending on how the game shapes up, there should be a few moments in the game where the two big man could go head-to-head in the low post or possibly mid-range. More anything else, this provides another intriguing underlying storyline to the much-anticipated season opener.
