After a review by the league's Last Two-Minute Report, Andrew Wiggins' game-winning three-pointer against the Oklahoma City Thunder should not have taken place after Minnesota Timberwolves center set an illegal screen on swingman Paul George, according to ESPN's Royce Young.
While the result of the play was an extraordinary end to a highly-contested game, this play likely cost the Thunder a win, as they had secured a one-point lead with Carmelo Anthony's three-point shot with five seconds left in the game.

Not only did Towns' screen undercut George while he chased a live ball, but the league also found that Timberwolves head coach Tom Thibodeau had signaled for a timeout prior to the inbounds play, despite having no timeouts left. There was no official in position to see his signal.

The two-minute report also pointed out a missed foul from Taj Gibson on Raymond Felton, a Felton foul on Wiggins, and a three-second call on Steven Adams, according to Brett Dawson of The Oklahoman.
