There's no question that Devin Booker and Karl Anthony-Towns are two of the brightest young players in the NBA. Karl-Anthony Towns is the best player on the third best team in the Western Conference, and will likely make his postseason debut at just 22 years of age. Towns is currently averaging 20.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, and is shooting an incredible 41 percent from deep. He is also boasting a 24.6 PER rating and is strangely in running to finish this season in the famed 50-40-90 club. Make no mistake, Towns is a phenomenal basketball player.
On the other side, Booker hasn't been as fortunate as Towns in regards to team success, but that shouldn't take away from what he has done on the basketball court. Booker is averaging 24.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 4.8 assists, while shooting 38 percent from deep. Booker has improved tremendously since his rookie season and is already considered to be the Suns' franchise superstar at only 21 years of age.
A few years ago, both players were members of the Kentucky Wildcats, a college team famed for its unique crop of talented NBA-ready players. Both Booker and Towns only spent one year in college and were widely recruited to the NBA as lottery picks. This year, Booker and Towns would have been seniors in college and will have been likely tearing up the NCAA. In a reminiscent tweet sent out by Davis on Wednesday, many have wondered what the Wildcats would have been like with both players.

It easy to point out that Towns and Booker would have dominated the NCAA, but they seem to be doing quite alright in both of their careers. Still, this is an interesting discussion since both players are of college age.
