Even after the success the Toronto Raptors have had the past four seasons, the organization is facing a tough situation this summer on whether to continue playing with their current group of players, or start to rebuild by acquiring young guns who can help them in the future.
One of the things they have to address is the impending free agency of their All-Star point guard, Kyle Lowry. Although he and DeMar DeRozan have proven they can make the playoffs consistently now, they haven't gone past the Cleveland Cavaliers and were also swept by them in the second round on Sunday.
DeRozan recently admitted, via Zach Lowe of ESPN, how he will help his teammate decide where he will play next season. Instead of lobbying for him to stay put, he said he won't do so, and would only support him like the way Lowry did last summer for him.

Despite a very talented roster, and even with the acquisition of Serge Ibaka, also a free agent this summer, and P.J. Tucker near the trade deadline, the Raptors have once again failed to reach their goal of winning a championship. Their front office will have one of the busiest summers in their history as they plan ahead and think of what's best for the franchise.
