Toronto Raptors head coach Nick Nurse doesn't want to take chances in Game 5, as he is expected to put Kawhi Leonard, the team's best defender, against the returning Kevin Durant of the Golden State Warriors.

It was announced earlier that Kevin Durant will start Monday night for the Golden State Warriors after careful evaluations from the team's medical staff.

Kevin Durant, who hasn't played since Game 5 of the Western Conference semifinals, is already under a lot of pressure. He is being asked to help the two-time champions send the series back to Oakland.

The Raptors and Kawhi Leonard lead the series 3-1, and a win will make them the 2019 NBA champions. However, Durant's return will make it more difficult for them to win Game 5, which is why the Raptors will do their best to make sure they will be able to contain him.

Kawhi Leonard has been successful in shutting down whomever Nurse asks him to guard. He neutralized Philadelphia 76ers' Ben Simmons in the second round and then the Milwaukee Bucks' Giannis Antetokounmpo in the conference finals. Durant is on a completely different level. If the reigning two-time Finals MVP is indeed 100 percent healthy for Game 5, Kawhi will definitely have his hands full against him.

However, the Raptors' defense doesn't rely on Leonard alone. Their collective effort as a team is one of the reasons why they've reached the Finals, so expect Toronto to make adjustments and devise several defensive schemes to stop Durant.
