Kawhi Leonard's lingering leg injury is one the Toronto Raptors have expressed some concern for, as he was seen limping his way to a Game 3 overtime win and favoring his right leg during Game 4 of the series. However, coach Nick Nurse stood firm with his take that the superstar forward is fine to take on Game 5.
“He's feeling good,” said Nurse over a conference call, according to ESPN's Tim Bontemps. “No concerns at this point. He's good.”
The major concern goes for point man Kyle Lowry, who has been wearing a specially designed oven mitt since to accelerate the healing process of his injured left thumb, though Nurse admitted the All-Star guard is playing through pain.

“He's obviously scoring and playing great on top of the other things he always does, and we're really [seeing] a heck of a lot of toughness and again, the spirit that he just wants to be out there and help his team any way he can.”
The Raptors are being fazed with the same that many other teams have to deal with this far into the postseason. Bodies break down, contact is constant and stiffer in some circumstances — causing injuries in some cases.
Toronto won't get the Milwaukee Bucks feeling sorry for them after coming back from a 2-0 deficit, nor from the resting Golden State Warriors, who have seen three of their main cogs hit the sidelines throughout the postseason.
All that is left is to manage these injuries as well as possible and play through the pain for the sake of reaching that end line, one that is only two wins away for the Raptors after gaining massive momentum with the last two wins.
