The Toronto Raptors are in a must-win situation after losing the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Milwaukee Bucks. Heading into Game 3, head coach Nick Nurse hinted at possible lineup changes as the team attempts to fight their way back into the series.

According to Arden Zwelling of SportsNet Canada, Nurse said that some tweaks in the Raptors' rotation could help aid them in Game 3, though he emphasized his belief that they are capable of bouncing back even if they don't make any changes.

“I think there could be more than one lineup change coming at us,” Nurse said.

“I think your question here is this: Are you going to dance with the one you [brought] to the ball?” Nurse said. “It’s not easy. You think certain series aren’t for certain guys, et cetera, et cetera. But I also think that we’ve had bad biorhythms a couple of times, maybe three or four times in the playoffs, and then the next game our biorhythms were back intact. So, I kind of trust these guys. You know who they are, and believe in them, and know they’re better than they played last night, and have shown that in bounce-back situations usually.”

One of the Raptors players who's been struggling in the series is Marc Gasol. After his impressive defensive efforts against Joel Embiid in their conference semifinals series against the Philadelphia 76ers, he has been unable to protect the paint and even allowed Bucks center Brook Lopez to torch them in Game 1.

Starting the more athletic Serge Ibaka over Gasol could help Toronto in Game 3.

Norman Powell could also replace Danny Green in the starting line-up, as he was active on both ends of the floor in Game 2. He scored 14 points while providing physical defense against multiple Bucks players. His efforts may have not been rewarded as the team lost that match, but Nurse definitely recognized how well he played.

The reality now is that the Raptors should beat the Bucks in four of the next five games — a tall order considering how inconsistent they've been in this series and in the playoffs in general. Nonetheless, some lineup changes could be the difference maker for them in this series.
