Thursday is a must-win Game 6 for the Utah Jazz against the Dallas Mavericks and Donovan Mitchell insists he will play, despite quad contusions on both legs.
The Jazz star was seen limping off the court in clear discomfort late in the fourth quarter during a Game 5 loss to the Mavs, which certainly concerned every Utah fan out there. But with their season on the line, Mitchell has no doubts he will suit up.
Utah Jazz guard Donovan Mitchell said he'll "be ready to go tomorrow." Said there was a little soreness. Two bruises on the left, one on the right.

No structural damage for the Jazz guard which means he can definitely play through the pain since they're just bruises. Spida is also the ultimate competitor and would never ever sit out such a crucial contest unless he had to. He also underwent an MRI on Tuesday and it came back negative.
Mitchell struggled immensely on Monday night, scoring just nine points in 31 minutes of action while going 0 for 7 from downtown. But, on the whole, he's played well in the series, averaging 26 points, five assists, and 3.6 boards. The ex-Louisville standout needs to find his three-point stroke though, shooting a putrid 19%.
The Jazz will need to be at their absolute best in order to knock off Luka Doncic and the Mavs here and to be frank, it just simply wouldn't happen if Donovan Mitchell didn't play. He's clearly aware of that.
Let's see if Utah can force a Game 7.
