The Utah Jazz just got a rude awakening at the hands of the Boston Celtics, who have been on a complete tear as of late. Utah got to feel what it was like to get dismantled by one of the league's hottest teams. In the process, they got real about what they needed to start doing in order to get right in time for the postseason.
According to Sarah Todd of Desert News, Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell shared brutally honest takes about what Utah has to start doing differently. Gobert suggests that the team needs to start sacrificing for itself.

“We got our (butt) kicked,” Mitchell said.
“It starts with, are we willing to sacrifice for each other?” Gobert said. “I think we are going to get there … We’re going to have to do things for each other. When you watch every championship team it’s not just about having talent, it’s about having guys that are willing to do things for each other.”
Jazz players calling out their own team for needing to be tougher is nothing new this season. Despite the talent they have, they still have a desire to become a more cohesive and effective unit. Even with just a few weeks left, they are still looking to do so.
The Jazz, at 45-28, are still fourth in the Western Conference and have the most efficient offense in the league. They are just on the edge of being a true contender. The advice from Mitchell and Gobert could get them over the edge, but time is not on their side.
