After Friday night's questionable call led to a Utah Jazz win over the Portland Trailblazers, Jazz shooting guard Donovan Mitchell had a few things to say about the Trail Blazers — specifically second-year shooting guard Gary Trent Jr.

“I don’t see why a guy like Gary Trent should come in and think he can just punk us. … We’re not a team that you can come in and just talk trash to. We’re not just gonna back down. … That’s what we kinda lacked the past few games — just toughness,” Mitchell said, per Eric Walden of the Salt Lake Tribune.

Mitchell was able to hit some clutch shots late in Friday's game but was held to just 6-16 shooting from the field and 1-5 from deep finishing the game with 16 points, seven assists and six rebounds.

The call in question came in the final seconds of the game when Blazers point guard Damian Lillard had a shot goaltended by Jazz center Rudy Gobert. However, the violation was not called resulting in a Utah win.
