Utah Jazz star Donovan Mitchell has good news for his video gaming fans. On Monday morning, the 22-year-old shooting guard sent out a video message to his followers on Twitter, noting that he will send out free copies of NBA 2K19 to anyone who sends him their address.
“To all kids: If you don't have NBA 2K19, just give me your address,” Mitchell states in his video. “I'm gonna start sending some out, for real. I've got way too many (copies).”

Mitchell was chosen as the cover athlete for 2K19's online version in China. Though his likeness will not grace the cover of the U.S. version, he's still honored to be featured in any way.

Mitchell has made a name for himself in the NBA — this after just one season in the league. The former University of Louisville stand-out made 79 appearances with the Jazz during their 2017-18 regular season campaign, racking up averages of 20.5 points on 43.7 percent shooting from the field (34.0 percent from beyond the arc), 3.7 assists, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 33.4 minutes per outing.
Clearly, Mitchell has a kind heart. His willingness to shell out free copies of 2K is just one example.
