Grayson Allen is one of the most intriguing draft prospects, but there are a lot of questions surrounding him. There is no question that he has a lot of talent, but the questions are about his on-court, non-basketball antics. He ran into a lot trouble at Duke for tripping players intentionally, and at times, seemed a little bit unstable. Walt Perrin of the Utah Jazz really liked what he saw from Allen.

“Grayson is definitely an NBA athlete,” Jazz VP of Player Personnel Walt Perrin said via the Salt Lake Tribune.

According to Tony Jones of the Tribune, the Jazz think that Allen has figured out his issues on the court, and is very much in play with the 21st pick. Allen was happy with the results for the combine, and he thinks that his play during his time with the Duke Blue Devils will speak volumes with NBA teams.

“I was obviously happy with what I did at the combine,” Allen said. “I thought I could’ve jumped higher, but everything else was good. Athletically, people have seen me for four years at Duke, so they knew what to expect. I played point guard my last two years at Duke. I can continue to do that at the next level, but I still feel like I’m at my best off the ball.”

Where Allen will end up is anyone's guess. He could end up as high as top 15 or as low as the second round, but whoever gets him will be getting a good player, as long as he can keep his head on straight.
