One of those people is former NBA player Kendrick Perkins.

The Jazz's projected starters for next season are Mike Conley Jr., Donovan Mitchell, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Joe Ingles, and Rudy Gobert. Offensively, this team can indeed hang with some of the best teams in the league. Sure, they do not have a superstar with a flashy name, but over the past couple of seasons, Utah has been relying on the team's collective efforts to win games. That isn't expected to change, even now that they have better players on the roster.

Defensively, they will are also expected to be good. They have Gobert, the two-time Defensive Player of the Year winner patrolling the painted area, plus Mitchell and Conley guarding the perimeter. They also have Ed Davis and Royce O'Neale off the bench, and both can help them in a lot of ways should they want a defensive lineup on the floor.

The Jazz have the players that fit the system that they've been trying to build over the past couple of years. Barring any injuries to their key players, Utah has the potential to be really good. Oftentimes, they will be overlooked because of the so-called ‘superstar duos' that have recently been formed in the league, but Perkins is right, they're a team that's well-coached and they should never be underestimated.
