The Utah Jazz just lost to one of the worst performing teams in the NBA this season, and Rudy Gobert has sounded off on his recent frustrations. As the Jazz dropped their matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans, losing 97-98 via a last second heave from Devonte Graham, Gobert has made it clear that the Jazz's recent performance is extremely uncharacteristic of the team. The All-Star center had the following to say concerning Utah's string of recent close losses:
“We're letting a lot of games get away that we should win. At the end of the season, we're going to feel stupid.”
Gobert and his squad currently stand at third in the west, with a 12-7 record, behind the Phoenix Suns (16-3), and the red-hot Golden State Warriors (17-2). Despite the Jazz's current standing, Gobert still feels like the team should be doing much better, as Eric Walden tweets:

This defeat to the 5-16 Pelicans comes after the Jazz narrowly escaped the 6-16 Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday, November 24, with a score of 110-104. However, the game before the Jazz's matchup with the Thunder saw Gobert and company fall to the young Memphis Grizzlies (9-10) team, which saw the Jazz lose by a point, 118-119.
As Rudy Gobert shares his frustrations on the handful of games that have escaped the Jazz this season, one can argue that Utah definitely needs to get more consistent with winning—especially against the younger, more inexperienced ball clubs—if it wants to truly contend for a championship.
