Los Angeles Lakers stud Kyle Kuzma was recently spotted in a college football game in Utah with Jazz star Donovan Mitchell. However, Lakers supporters need not worry about Kuzma switching sides, as the 23-year-old was merely supporting his alumni, University of Utah.
The Utes were up against the Weber State Wildcats in their opening matchup of the season. Kuzma and Mitchell proved to be the team's lucky charms, as they coasted to a 41-10 victory to notch their first win in the PAC-12 South conference of the NCAA.
Kyle Kuzma spent three years at the University of Utah as part of the school's basketball team before entering the NBA Draft last summer. During his senior year, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged an impressive 16.4 points on 50.4% shooting, 9.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 30.8 minutes per contest.

As for Donovan Mitchell, he spent his two college playing years with the Louisville Cardinals, which he used to establish himself as a top NBA prospect. As we all know, his sensational rookie campaign with the Jazz resulted in the 21-year-old becoming a sports icon in the state. He was merely on hand supporting the football spectacle.
Both Kuzma and Mitchell are two of the most promising athletes in the NBA today. However, their circumstances could not be any more different. Kuzma is part of a young Lakers core led by one of the greatest ever in LeBron James. For his part, Mitchell has been handed the reigns as the Jazz's cornerstone star and is expected to lead the team this upcoming season, and for years to come.
