Mitchell made his first All-Star team this season. The Jazz's leading scorer is averaging 24.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.2 assists in 63 games while shooting 45.3 percent from the field, 36.4 percent from beyond the arc and 85.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Mitchell has taken the NBA by storm since entering the league back in 2017. He has averaged at least 20 points per game every season since getting drafted by the Jazz with the 13th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft out of Louisville.

This is all new for basketball folks. The league has never had to suspend a season while the schedule was ongoing.

NBA Commissioner Adam Silver has had a lot on his plate since 2020 began. First, former NBA Commissioner David Stern passed away, then Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gigi died in a tragic helicopter crash.

Now the league isn't playing games until the coronavirus outbreak dies down.
