Brooklyn Nets big man Jarrett Allen did not just give Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert a taste of his own medicine, but he also finished an alley-oop in the next possession.

Gobert is a two-time Defensive Player of the Year award, but Allen let him know that he is a good shot-blocker himself and that there's no such thing as an easy hoop against the Nets.

After the big rejection, Allen showcased that he's a hard worker and diligently ran the floor on offense. The best part was that he got rewarded for his efforts with a huge alley-oop slam.

However, it was the Jazz who came out on top of the game with a 118-107 victory.

Kyrie Irving led all scorers with 32 points to go along with 11 assists. Jarrett Allen himself had eight points, two rebounds and one block, albeit in a losing effort.

For the Jazz, Joe Ingles chipped in 27 points while Donovan Mitchell added 25 points. Rudy Gobert had a monster double-double with 22 points and 18 rebounds in 37 minutes of play.

The Jazz improved to 28-12 on the season, climbing to second in the West standings. Meanwhile, the Nets are now 18-21 and clinging onto the eighth seed in the East.
