Draymond Green has struggled shooting the ball to start the season, a large part due to his three three-point attempts per game, which he's knocked down at a lousy 24 percent clip.
The Golden State Warriors forward is far off from the pace he saw in a special 2015-16 season, where he knocked down 38.8 percent of his shots from beyond the arc — an anomaly of sorts, given his career 33.2 percent from deep.
Green put up a season high in points with 16 on the night against the L.A. Clippers on Monday, rounding out his stat line with nine rebounds, six assists, two steals, and a block through three quarters before taking a rest in the fourth quarter.

I changed that tonight and let everything else come after my game, like I always do. If it happens, it happens.”
Green has often been left alone on the perimeter, as he hasn't proven to be consistent from deep, unlike his All-Star counterparts — but his all-around game should still create opportunities for him to find the right openings and find a chance to score, making the trifecta a last-resort weapon in his game.
