The Golden State Warriors have set yet another impressive franchise first in their historic four-year run of dominance. With their 102-98 win over the Detroit Pistons, the Warriors secured their first 6-0 road trip in franchise history.

The Warriors won the first and the last games of their road trip by four points apiece, but their average margin of victory in the four games in between was a dominant 18 points.

Kevin Durant was once again the key factor in their win against the Pistons. He followed up his impressive triple-double against the Charlotte Hornets with another spectacular performance as he had 36 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists in the absence of Stephen Curry, who will be out for a few weeks with a sprained ankle.
Curry’s bold prediction of the Warriors going undefeated during December is off to a promising start. Durant has topped at least 35 points in two games without Curry in the lineup to lead the Warriors in their last two wins.
And after enduring that grueling road trip unscathed, the Warriors now face a much more favorable slate which sees them play nine of their next 10 games at home, with their lone road game during that stretch coming against the Lakers.
