Stephen Curry is regarded as the best shooter in NBA history by many. His unique combination of range and a quick release is what makes him one of the most lethal point guards in the league.

Against the New Orleans Pelicans in December, Curry painfully injured his ankle and was out for two weeks, even missing the Christmas Day showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, when Curry returned to the Warriors' lineup against the Memphis Grizzlies, he instantly caught on fire.

Curry ignited the Warriors to a 141-128 win, scoring 38 points off of 13-17 shooting. Curry notoriously hit 10 threes in the win, including a vicious crossover on Marc Gasol.

In his next game against the Dallas Mavericks, Curry was equally impressive. Curry scored 32 points, with eight assists and five rebounds, while shooting 6-for-13 from the 3-point line. Curry heated up from deep when the Warriors needed him most down the stretch. In the final seconds of the game, he came off a pick to hit a crucial, game-winning three with only seconds left on the clock. Curry's terrific 3-point stretch continued on in a game against the Houston Rockets as well.

Curry scored 29 points, while shooting 4-for-10 from deep in a decisive win for the Warriors.

In his three games since his return, Curry has already made 20 3-pointers. This effort has moved Curry from 17th to 7th in 3-pointer made this season, per Reddit user /u/theclownermb. He has even passed James Harden for most threes per game.

It looks pretty clear that Curry has returned to his usual dominant form since coming back from the injury.
