The NBA’s last two minutes report sided with LeBron James’ assessment that he got fouled multiple times by Kevin Durant late in the Christmas Day game between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.
Durant had a diplomatic response to the league’s report, saying he understood what it was for and that officials do miss calls. Nevertheless, he points out that those reports won’t do anything to change the outcome of the game.

While Cavs fans will feel aggrieved by the league’s admission that fouls should’ve been called on Durant, KD rightly points out the reality which is that there’s nothing that report can do now to change what happened.
Unless the NBA is willing to actually replay games or change outcomes because of egregiously incorrect calls, there’s not much use for those reports other than to point out errors and fuel discontent on the side that was hard done by those incorrect calls.
Luckily for Durant, he came away on the right side of those no-calls and the Warriors went on to win the game. He might feel a little differently if the roles were reversed, but even if he did, the fact still remains that there's nothing he or anyone else can do about it when the final buzzer sounds.
