Stephen Curry’s #Currychallenge trick shot is the latest fad taking the basketball social media world by storm. However, the Golden State Warriors star has reminded people taking part in the challenge to remain respectful of other people while doing so.

“I will just say be very mindful of the repercussions of messing with people's stuff,” he told ESPN’s Chris B. Haynes. “I do not condone violence. That is the only thing. I do not condone violence.”

The #Currychallenge trick shot is basically a slow-motion Eurostep followed by a high-arcing flip shot that barely draws any iron. Curry successfully made the shot during pregame against the Miami Heat, and has since become a viral sensation.

As expected, many people have attempted to recreate the difficult shot, while adding their own unique spin to it and posting it on social media.

However, there has been one fan, Samuel Grubbs, who has done the challenge on unsuspecting strangers, using other objects like a cellphone and an unknown liquid in place of a ball which he throws in the air.

While Curry acknowledges the creativity in those videos, he is just doing the responsible thing by reminding people to remain respectful and to not cross the line from fun to dangerous while doing his challenge.
