Washington Wizards All-Star point guard John Wall sat out the entire 2019-20 season recovering from his devastating Achilles tear.
By the looks of it, though, it appears that was the right decision by the Wizards star, as Wall looked incredibly healthy and dominant in a recent 5-on-5 pick-up game, via Ball Is Life.

This is a great sign for Wizards fans, who can't wait to see John Wall and Bradley Beal tearing up the league again in 2020-21. Despite Beal's superstar play this season, the Wizards missed the 2020 playoffs since the team didn't have Wall in the lineup setting up the table for everyone and causing havoc with his elite speed.

The last time Wizards fans saw Wall play was in 2018-19. The former No. 1 overall pick averaged 20.7 points, 3.6 rebounds and 8.7 assists per game while shooting 44.4 percent from the field, 30.2 percent from beyond the arc and 69.7 percent from the free throw line.
Wall played in only 32 games in 2018-19 due to a heel injury that required surgery. The 30-year-old then fell at his house and tore his Achilles tendon.
Since getting drafted by the Wizards in 2010 out of Kentucky, Wall has compiled averages of 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 9.2 assists in the regular season. He's set to make $41.3 million next season, so the Wizards are hoping Wall can regain his All-Star form quickly and guide the franchise back to the postseason with the help of Beal.
