Colin Cowherd of Fox Sports made a ridiculous statement about Cincinnati's football rankings.

Cowherd says,

Once again the college football committee nailed it(except Cincinnati which I have 23rd). Bravo.

This is an interesting comment to make by Cowherd considering Cincinnati is 10-0 on the year and has played great football. Cincinnati came in at number five in the most recent college football rankings which is a little disrespectful. The three teams ahead of them all have one loss. They have some impressive wins this season including a win at Navy and a win against Notre Dame, in South Bend.

Cincinnati doesn't play the toughest schedule because of their conference but when they did play another top 10 team in Notre Dame, they went into their home stadium and took them down. At this point, if they go undefeated throughout the season and they don't make the college football playoffs, they probably won't ever. What they should look to do in the future is schedule more out of conference games. They can possibly try to get a matchup against one of the top teams in the SEC or Big Ten.

Notre Dame is number eight in the country and their lone loss is to Cincinnati. This shows just how good Cincinnati is. Notre Dame has wins against Wisconsin, Florida State, USC, and Virginia Tech.

Cincinnati has proven that they can play with the best and Cowherds' statement is just factually incorrect.
