The NCAA passed the new NIL (name, image, likeness) and so far we have seen a ton of players benefiting from the new rule. On Tuesday, Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban gave some insight on his star quarterback, Bryce Young, and how much he has made from the new NIL rule.
Get ready. It is a ridiculous amount. (h/t Chris Hummer)
Nick Saban is talking at the Texas HS Coaches Association convention today. He was asked about NIL. Apparently, Bryce Young is doing quite well.
“Our QB has already approached ungodly numbers, and he hasn’t even played yet. If I told you what it is … it’s almost 7-figures."

Yes, that is a TON of money for Young and the season hasn't even started yet. With Mac Jones being drafted to the NFL and the New England Patriots, it is finally Young's time to shine for the Crimson Tide.
Here's one reason why fans should be thrilled with Young.
Up next for Alabama, Bryce Young. Beautiful far hash throw over the shoulder of Devonta Smith. Can't throw it any better than that. pic.twitter.com/PGuBVCW6zV

What a dime and the job should be his when the season rolls around.
Young is making an insane amount of cash from the NIL and he should continue to make even more if he can live up to the hype around him, especially if Alabama can make a run at the National Title. With college football season around the corner, expect more and more NCAA stars to ink deals and make money while they can from the NIL.
For now, Young might be the most beneficial, and that's what happens when you go play for the Alabama Crimson Tide.
