The video game world is thrilled after EA Sports announced that they are bringing back the NCAA College Football game for the first time since 2014 and Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray is making his case as the cover athlete.

Murray is certainly a worthy candidate, although the one who makes the most sense might be Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who is undoubtedly the top overall pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Kyler Murray was the top overall pick in the 2019 draft after winning the Heisman in 2018 and flirting with a possible MLB career before ultimately deciding on taking his talents to the NFL.
The last cover athlete of the video game was Michigan dual-threat quarterback Denard Robinson in 2014, and EA Sports has options galore for the cover athlete for this game.

Murray wasn't the only former Heisman winner to express his feelings about the release as former LSU Tiger and the past number one pick Joe Burrow took to Twitter as well.
All I ever wanted was to be on the cover of this game and as soon as I graduate they bring it back https://t.co/C6JhkfQMpJ

Both Kyler Murray and Burrow could possibly be on the cover, but a current NCAA star or top draft picks like Lawrence or Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith is probably the way they decide to go, although nothing is certain.
Either way, the sports world and gamers around the country are thrilled at the return of the coveted video game after spending more than half a dozen years without a new release, and the debate of who graces the cover will be an interesting one to keep an eye on.
