Lil Wayne sent a video to Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes players motivating them in advance of their big rivalry clash with Nebraska on Saturday. The moment was captured by Deion Sanders Jr. via his Well Off Media YouTube page.
Lil Wayne spoke about greatness in his remarks to the team in the video and made the point that oftentimes greatness isn't required in the “real world”. However, Lil Wayne persisted that they still operate in their greatness no matter what.

So, Uncle Deion…he's the greatness…you impress him. You impress your coaches. You impress them. You impress the person in the mirror. And then you look at Nebraska as the real world because it's not gonna take half as much to impress them!”
Wayne continued, “What you do is you go out there and kick they ass…you show them who you are. But, not only that: you impress them…when they walk out of there with their heads down, tell them pick their heads up…and look at y'all with their eyes wide open because that's how impressed they'll be.”
Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes already have impressed many with their huge upset of TCU last weekend. The 45-42 win put Colorado in the AP Top 25, being ranked #22 on the list. The Buffaloes will match up with the Cornhuskers in their home debut on Saturday at 12 PM EST. The game will be broadcast on Fox.
