Missouri entered Saturday's game coming off a 31-29 home win over the South Carolina Gamecocks, which followed the Tigers' devastating 43-6 loss in Athens to the Georgia Bulldogs. Although they aren't going to finish the season anywhere near the top of the SEC East division, the Tigers can take heart from the fact that they have just avenged their 2020 loss to Florida in Gainesville. At the same time, it must feel so sweet for Drinkwitz to have managed to steer Missouri into its second bowl-eligibility season in just two years as head coach of the program.
