At a time where more attention is being paid to which teams have the most vaccinated players in sports, some attention definitely needs to be directed towards the Navy football team and head coach Ken Niumatalolo.
The Navy football team, according to their coach, is 100% vaccinated which is incredibly impressive and quite honestly, seemed unattainable for most teams.

While the military doesn't mandate vaccination, it is under consideration. The Navy football team went out anyways and got to 100% vaccination levels. Niumatalolo discussed one of the motivating factors in a humorous way.
“Who wants that thing stuck in your nose every morning? Guys are excited not to have to do that anymore, getting up early and getting your nostrils probed. That wasn’t any fun.”
While the NFL continues to struggle with players getting vaccinated and are trying to find the right methods that work to at least educate players on the benefits, Navy won't have to worry about any of that with their football team.
It's a hot topic issue all across sports and especially in football, with the college and NFL seasons set to start at the end of August and early September. Check the box off for Navy as a team that has made the unattainable, attainable.
