Bryant is revered as one of the pioneers of the Crimson Tide football program where he served as head coach from 1958 to 1982. His 25-year tenure in Alabama saw him garner six national championships: 1961, 1964, 1965, 1973, 1978, and 1979. Bryant finished his stint with a 232-46-9 overall record.

A couple of decades later, Saban then came into the program as it's head coach back in 2007. The West Virginia native was fresh from a two-year stint with the Miami Dolphins before going back to coach in the collegiate ranks. He would go on to follow in Bryant's footsteps and developed the program as one of the best powerhouses in college football today.

Prior to the 2020 season, Saban already grabbed six national championships as head coach after emerging victorious in 2003, 2009, 2011, 2012, 2015, and 2017. However, his first title back in 2003 was with the LSU Tigers where he served as the main tactician from 2000 to 2004.

Alabama recently capped off an undefeated season with a 13-0 record after a win over Ohio State for the 2020 national title. Quarterback Mac Jones filled the stat sheets with 464 yards on 36-of-45 passes completed along with five touchdowns.

The 2020 Heisman Trophy winner in wide receiver DeVonta Smith also came out with a huge performance headlined by 215 receiving yards on 12 receptions and three touchdowns. A 52-24 victory ultimately gave Nick Saban the seventh national championship of his illustrious career and etched his name in Crimson Tide lore once more.
