The Maryland Terps were able to defeat the Penn State Nittany Lions handily on Saturday to improve to 2-1 on the season. Following their blowout victory over Penn State, Maryland's Twitter account took a jab at their Big Ten rivals on social media.

Of course, for those that don't know, Penn State's nickname for where they play their games is “Happy Valley”. Therefore, to create a comedic effect, Maryland called them “Sad Valley” after beating them 35-19 on Saturday.
With the win over the Nittany Lions, the Terps now improve to 2-1 on the season. Just last week, Maryland took down Minnesota in an upset win by the score of 45-44.
Maryland's lone loss of the season came in their first game of the season in a peculiar lopsided loss to Northwestern. On the other hand, Penn State finds themselves boasting an 0-3 record to begin their Big Ten season.
Heading into Saturday's contests, Penn State held a 40-2-1 record over Maryland in their first 43 games. But after Saturday's massive win, the Terps reigned supreme on the field and on social media.
