According to reports, James Harden has the Brooklyn Nets high on his list of preferred trade destinations, which would reunite him with former teammate Kevin Durant. Of course, if any team has the option to add a player as good as James Harden, they should jump at the chance. However, could a Nets team of Harden, Durant, and Kyrie Irving really co-exist?

On the daily Locked On Nets Podcast, hosts Adam Armbrecht and Doug Norrie discussed the rumors surrounding Harden. Simply put, his fit next to Durant and Irving shouldn't be an issue at all if he winds up getting traded to the Nets:

Adam Armbrecht: This is a top-10 NBA player, no doubt about it. Top-10 NBA player, if you ask me, if you want to make the list to put 10 other guys ahead of him, we can talk about it all day … The group of these guys is so small, that you always work to get them and you worry less about what it took to get there later.

The second thing is, you know, I'm just gonna kind of parrot some people's concerns about fit. Fit in the current NBA is something that you can just kind of make happen. I don't know another way to tell people this … In general, fit can be sort of molded to what is best suited for everyone once you see everywhere on the court. Consolidating power around the top players does make a lot of sense when the group of guys is the elite group, right? We just came off a season seeing that with LeBron, AD, and basically spare parts and that and they won the championship. So I'm not worried. I'm not worried about the fit piece even a little bit.

The Nets would have an overwhelming amount of talent if they made this big trade.
