Kyrie Irving was the epitome of perfection in the first half of the Brooklyn Nets' play-in showdown with the Cleveland Cavaliers, so much so that Bradley Beal and CJ McCollum couldn't believe what they saw.
Irving erupted for 20 points in the first half as the Nets went ahead 57-43. Even more incredible, the veteran guard was a perfect 9-of-9 from the field during that span, all while going 2-for-2 from the free throw line. He also had four assists, one rebound and one steal to get Brooklyn going.
Beal then took to Twitter to show how amazed he was of Irving, highlighting that the one-time champion is truly locked in. Meanwhile, McCollum shared how Irving's work was some kind of next level wizardry.

Kyrie Irving has always been elite, but people seem to forget about that after his rather controversial COVID-19 vaccine stance. Now that the issue is over, though, he's showing what he can do when he's on the floor.
Prior to the play-in, Irving has expressed his confidence about the Nets' ability to win high pressure games, thanks to their championship experience. And sure enough he is showing that with his game.
When the Nets needed him most, he didn't vanish. Now, Brooklyn is well on its way to the playoffs with Kyrie and his partner in crime Kevin Durant leading the way.
The road is still long for the Nets, but Nets fans got to love their chances with two superstars on their side.
