In news that will surely make everyone in Brooklyn happy, Brooklyn Nets small forward Caris LeVert will be available to play against the Chicago Bulls on Friday.

Caris LeVert dislocated his right foot on Nov. 12 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. At the time, it appeared LeVert was going to be out for the season, but tests showed the injury wasn't going to require surgery.

Before he went down with the foot injury, Caris LeVert was playing very well for the Nets. The 24-year-old was averaging a career-high 18.4 points per game while shooting an efficient 47.5 percent from the field, 31.1 percent from beyond the arc and 72.1 percent from the free-throw line.

LeVert was also grabbing 4.3 rebounds and dishing out 3.7 assists. His return to the Nets is essentially like adding a new player to the roster via trade.

Brooklyn is 29-27 on the season, good for sixth place in the Eastern Conference standings. They are playing their best basketball in years and going to be even more lethal with LeVert back in the fold. LeVert will most likely be on a minutes restriction as he makes his way back. Everyone in the NBA, though, is thrilled the youngster is close to playing basketball again.

The game on Friday versus the Bulls will be at home, so Caris LeVert is going to get a huge ovation from the Brooklyn faithful when he checks into the game.
