Nets center DeAndre Jordan suffers left ankle injury vs. Pelicans

Brooklyn Nets center DeAndre Jordan suffered a left ankle sprain against the New Orleans Pelicans on Monday.

The Nets announced that Jordan is out for the remainder of the game:

DeAndre Jordan entered Monday averaging 6.5 points and 10.0 rebounds for the Nets while shooting 55.2 percent from the field. He signed a four-year, $40 million contract with the Nets this summer in free agency.

Jordan was on the floor for a few minutes after twisting his ankle. He walked off the court on his power to the locker room.
