James Harden of the Brooklyn Nets made his return back to Houston where he spent most of his career and Rocket fans showered him in love and appreciation while the Rockets played a tribute video for him.

Before being traded to the Nets, Harden left a huge mark during his time in Houston. During his time there, the Rockets have found more success than they usually have as a franchise. The Nets star was able to put up some incredible numbers including in 2018-19 where he scored 36.1 points per game for Houston and brought them to a Western Conference semifinal.

If the Nets want to win an NBA title, Harden is going to have to return to at least 80-percent of what he was in Houston. The Nets do not have a great supporting cast outside of Harden, Durant, and a few other guys. He hasn't necessarily been playing bad basketball this season, but he's not playing at the level that many expect him to. He's barely averaging over 20 points per game and is only shooting 40% from the field.

If he can give Durant any bit of help, the Nets will be favorites to win an NBA title. Unfortunately, he hasn't looked up to speed this season as it seems that he's lost a step or two. Factor in that the NBA has also changed its rule calling, and Harden has struggled throughout the year. He will look to take down his former team and keep the Nets in first place in the Eastern Conference.
