Brooklyn Nets head coach Kenny Atkinson expects his group to “come out fighting like lions” in Game 5 against the Philadelphia 76ers.

If the Nets lose, their magical season is over. Atkinson says the players on the team are motivated to bring the series back to Brooklyn for Game 6.

The Nets won Game 1 in Philadelphia. Since then, though, the Sixers have dominated the series to take a commanding 3-1 lead. Brooklyn will have to play almost perfect basketball to win Game 5 on the road.

The Nets' defense has to be elite in Game 5. They are giving up a whopping 122.5 points per game in the series. The crowd in Philadelphia is going to be electric, especially considering what happened in Brooklyn. Nets veteran forward Jared Dudley is going to get booed viciously every time he touches the ball in Game 5.

D'Angelo Russell is averaging 22.3 points in the series. Caris LeVert is putting up 21.8 and Spencer Dinwiddie is at 17.5. Scoring hasn't been the issue for the Nets in this series. They are averaging 114.3. Brooklyn just hasn't been able to stop Sixers stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.

On basically one leg, Embiid is averaging 25.3 points and 13.7 rebounds. After struggling in Game 1, Simmons has been a monster. The lefty is putting up 18.3 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.0 assists in the series.
