Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving played together for a grand total of eight games for the Brooklyn Nets last season. That's like watching the Beastie Boys magically reunite (come back to us, Adam Yauch!) but only for two songs.

The injury bug was a huge factor in the lack of floor time for the Nets' Big Three. Durant, Harden, and Irving just couldn't stay healthy at the same time. It was as if the invisible basketball powers-that-be conspired to punish them for teaming up.

But for the upcoming NBA season, it seems the three perennial All-Stars are finally set to wreak havoc. Durant is healthy. Harden is healthy. Irving is healthy. And according to oddsmakers in Las Vegas, the Nets are primed to win the crown if they all avoid getting sidelined (via New York Post).

The Nets were given the highest projected win total for over/under bets by Caesars Sportsbook on Friday, when the league announced its full schedule. The Nets’ total is 54.5 wins, ahead of the defending champion Milwaukee Bucks with 53.5 and a group of teams at 51.5 that includes the LeBron James and Russell Westbrook-led Los Angeles Lakers and last year’s no. 1 playoff seed in each conference (Utah Jazz and Philadelphia Sixers).

Tallying 54 or 55 wins is very much doable for the Nets. After all, they won 48 games last season despite Durant, Harden, and Irving each being as durable as a wet tissue roll.

In the eight games they played together, the Nets truly looked unstoppable. Now, with the squad's Big Three finally getting a clean bill of health, it's scary to think how more dangerous they can be.
