With the new season just a few weeks away, preparations for the new campaign have been on full swing for most teams. The same can be said for the Brooklyn Nets, and if you ask veteran big man DeAndre Jordan, the rest of the league better be ready for the return of Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving.

Jordan provided an insider look at how the recent practice sessions have been for Brooklyn, and as it turns out, both Durant and Irving are now looking like their old selves again:

“They looked like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving. They looked exactly like themselves. There’s no favoring [anything],” said Jordan, via Brian Lewis of the New York Post. “It’s good to see Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving back on the court. I will say that.”

Durant missed the entirety of last season, recovering from an Achilles injury, while Irving also missed a huge chunk of the campaign due to various injuries. Both Durant and Irving skipped all of Brooklyn's games inside the Disney World bubble, which provided them with more time to get back into shape.

They appeared to have taken advantage of their extended time off, and as Jordan expressed above, both stars are well on their way to lead the charge for the Nets this coming season. With these two at the helm, there is little doubt that Brooklyn will be one of the favorites to come out of the Eastern Conference this term.
