Wednesday night was a special occasion for the Brooklyn Nets, with their newly-formed Big 3 taking the court for the first time together. Kyrie Irving, who features in his first game back for the Nets after a seven-game absence, marked his return with a bucket to open the scoring for Brooklyn.

Here's a look at Irving showing off his trademark handles against a hapless Cedi Osman (h/t ClutchPoints on Twitter):

The Cleveland Cavaliers left Osman on an island with Irving and it did not end well for the Cavs forward. If there was any question as to Kyrie's conditioning after a lengthy spell on the sidelines, then this play should quell any doubts.

For what it's worth, Irving did turn the ball over and was called for an offensive foul prior to this play, so perhaps the six-time All-Star was a bit too excited coming into this one. Then again, this is quite understandable considering how he has to make his mark playing alongside two other superstars in Kevin Durant and James Harden.

Irving was out of action for two weeks prior to Wednesday. The extended absence started with Kyrie sitting out a couple of games due to personal reasons. He was then placed under the league's health and safety protocols after a viral video of the point guard partying maskless went viral.
