Spencer Dinwiddie is back in the news once again. The Nets guard is set to hit the free-agent market and should have plenty of suitors, despite playing just three games this past season after suffering an injury. Well, Dinwiddie has heard the backlash from the doubters and took to Twitter to express his frustration.
The spin is because I told the truth about the CBA and market comps.
If you can’t change the CBA, you have to try to change market comps.
So you talk about my knee negatively and compare me to Monte Morris instead of FVV/Brogdon etc

Dinwiddie is upset people compare him to Monte Morris, apparently. When healthy, Dinwiddie is one of the better guards and an explosive playmaker on the court and could compete for a starting role on a lot of teams in the league.
Article Continues BelowYes, Dinwiddie's essential value is as a starring guard. On the other hand, teams might be wary after suffering a serious injury and missing a lot of time, which could cause his market value to drop quite a bit. Still, Dinwiddie doesn't like the comps and isn't afraid to express his opinion.
Regardless, Dinwiddie can play and he told the Nets exactly what he wanted in order to return to Brooklyn– a lot of money.
With NBA free agency around the corner, the situation regarding Dinwiddie will be one to monitor and it is no secret the Nets want him back, although they probably won't be able to afford him if other teams come on with strong offers.
