James Harden hasn't looked like himself through the first two weeks of the regular season. The Brooklyn Nets star has been put under the spotlight amid the league's new rule changes on drawing fouls.

The struggles go beyond just losing his bread and butter foul baiting tactics. Through the first six Nets contests, James Harden is shooting just 37.1% from the field. He's never shot below 40% for a season in his entire 13-year NBA career.

The Beard had a much better performance in an easy win over the Detroit Pistons. He tallied a triple double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 12 assists while shooting 6-for-9 from the field. But even that total is relatively modest based off what we've been used to with James Harden in recent seasons.

Nets coach Steve Nash spoke out on being in Harden's ear as he goes through his mini-slump.

“We've tried to push him as he's started to feel more confident & comfortable to attack, attack early, attack often. Get to the paint; don't try to outthink people all the time.”

It's still extremely early into the new season and James Harden is hardly the only superstar struggling to find his footing so far. It might just be a matter of time before the Beard starts lighting it up for the Nets once again.
