Spencer Dinwiddie has been rumored as a potential trade piece ahead of the deadline and he's catching the attention of fans. With less than 24 hours to go until the trade deadline passes, Dinwiddie liked a tweet by ESPN's B0bby Marks that spoke about teams who would have cap space this summer.

Spencer Dinwiddie likely isn't going to be suiting up again this season as he continues his recovery process for a torn ACL injury. However, Dinwiddie's name has been mentioned as a player that the Brooklyn Nets could part ways with as they continue to build a championship roster this season.

Marks pointed out that the New York Knicks and the Miami Heat are the teams with the most cap space available in the upcoming offseason. Besides the Knicks and the Heat, the Charlotte Hornets, the Dallas Mavericks, the San Antonio Spurs, and the Toronto Raptors all are projected to be above the salary cap.

Both Miami and Toronto have been rumored teams to acquire Spencer Dinwiddie before the deadline. The Heat have reportedly offered a package of Kendrick Nunn, Avery Bradley, and Maurice Harkless for Dinwiddie.

Regardless of whether or not Spencer Dinwiddie is traded, a team could show interest in trading him just to get a headstart on their free-agent pitch in the summer. While it remains to be seen if Dinwiddie remains in Brooklyn by the end of the week, the veteran guard is fully aware of who can pay him once the offseason gets underway.
